An agreement was signed with Habitat Recycling in the ‘Recycling of Vegetable Waste Oils’ protocol in the Tuşba district of Van.
Continuing its efforts towards enviromental sensitivity, Tuşba Municipality has signed a protocol on collection and recycling of vegetable waste oils. Signed with the aim to advantage under the terms of an enviromental problems, the vegetable waste oils that came out of schools, homes and food factories in Tuşba Municipality which endangers the human health and environmental cleanliness are being burned in productive facilities after being collected by Habitat Recycling Environmental Industry Trade and Limited Company.
The cooperation protocol was signed by Mayor of Tuşba Salih Akman and Habitat Recycling Environmental Industry Trade and Limited Company Official Cebrail Duran. In the protocol ceremony, Mayor Akman stated the increase of impacts on the natural human environment of people due to rapidly growing population, developing industry, advances in technology. The Mayor Akman, who mentioned the rapid depletion of natural resources, the issue of ‘Recycling and the Environment’ placed it at the top of the world agenda, also signified the efficient use of natural resources for future generations is very extensive to keep the resource shortage, stressing that “ With this agreement, it will be ensured that vegetable waste oils are recycled aand disposed of without harming the environment.”
Mayor Akman also noted the necessity of recycling to ensure ecological balance , said that it is not municipalism to just accumulate or collect vegetable oils in one place without recycling. Mayor Akman, “ As the municipality, it is significant for us to collect vegetable waste oils in time and in healthy ways. With this awareness, it will be ensured that vegetable waste oils will be collected regularly and recycled by signing a contract with our company again at the end of the period. Let’s make our city a more beautiful and liveable hometown by cooperating.” he said.
